Antelope are herbivorous even-toed animals of the Bovidae family with social structures ranging from the solitary Steenbok to the very social Wildebeest. Most antelope are social animals that live in groups called herds. They live in a wide range of habitats across Southern Africa including, open savannah, woodlands, marshes and even deserts. Most antelope species are herbivores that graze on grass, buds, bulbs, fruits and leaves.
